string quartet + electronics

A musical portrait of the 1974 filling in of the Alum Creek Reservoir in Delaware, Ohio. Featuring interviews by my father about life before and after the small, rural creek was turned into a recreational boating area, the piece uncouples the sonorities of a Sacred Harp hymn to capture a sense of drifting and loss.

Natalie Carducci, Cassie Bequary, violins
Clio Tilton, viola
Gretchen Claassen, cello
